I am a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate. I completed my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am registered with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT).
It is my priority to create a welcoming environment where you feel at ease, and free to explore yourself without judgement. I strive to cultivate an atmosphere of warmth and empathy where you can share at your own pace. I aim to build therapeutic relationships that promote growth, resilience, and healing.
With a focus on you being the expert in your own life, I am flexible to tailoring my approach to best suit your specific needs and preferences. My areas of focus include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, stress, building skills in areas like relationships, boundary setting, and self-esteem, as well as helping with fertility-related challenges. In my practice, I draw from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), as well as Narrative and Mindfulness based therapies.
I know that reaching out for help is not always easy and I commend you for taking this step. Let’s begin this journey of positive change together!
